Bufab Flos, expert in technical components and logistical solutions according to automotive OEM standards, is joining forces with Beijer Automotive. This collaboration opens doors to a new market: OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) truck manufacturers.
A highlight of this new partnership is a custom-developed Bluetooth CAN interface, which connects the CAN data of trucks from one of the largest truck manufacturers with their Connected Mobility applications. This product needs to be delivered just-in-time to the truck manufacturer’s production location, requiring optimal logistics, and Bufab Flos is the designated partner for this purpose.
In addition to logistics, product quality is a key focus when delivering to automotive OEMs. The collaboration between Beijer Automotive and Bufab Flos ensures this by adhering to international standards such as ISO 9001, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). The PPAP process guarantees quality and consistency in products and deliveries, aligning customer and supplier requirements for delivery reliability. FMEA identifies potential flaws in the production process, analyses causes and consequences, and facilitates quick interventions.
Thanks to these efforts in the field of optimal logistics and quality, the combination Beijer Automotive and Bufab Flos has been recognized as a supplier to OEMs. This development offers promising opportunities for future CAN products and solutions for the OEM market.
