Students at Eindhoven University of Technology have also made use of CAN solutions from Beijer in Stella, a solar vehicle they developed themselves. On 31 October 2013, NXP Singapore successfully demonstrated the uCAN system, developed by Beijer, following its inclusion in Stella, a solar vehicle which shortly before had emerged victorious in the Cruiser Class of the World Solar Challenge 2013. While Stella was driving through the streets of Singapore, its data were being displayed on a projection screen in real time.
